Balurghat subdivision is a subdivision of the South Dinajpur district in the state of West Bengal, India. It consists of Balurghat municipality and four community development blocs: Hili, Balurghat, Kumarganj and Tapan. The four blocks contain 35 gram panchayats. The subdivision has its headquarters at Balurghat. ==Area== Apart from the Balurghat municipality, the subdivision contains rural areas of 35 gram panchayats under four community development blocs: Hili, Balurghat, Kumarganj and Tapan.
